Job Description
We would like to extend a warm welcome to Lake County School's Exceptional Student Education Department. We are excited about your interest in joining our team. As a team, we strive to ensure the needs of all students with disabilities and gifted students are met to create and maintain an environment for success in all of our schools.
This is an itinerant position providing services at various school sites. School experience is preferred. The qualified candidate must hold a valid FL Department of Health Occupational Therapy License.
Starting salary for new or returning hires is commensurate with relevant education and experience.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities and gifted students across multiple school sites.
Qualifications
Valid FL Department of Health Occupational Therapy License.
Itinerant experience providing services in K‑12 schools (preferred).
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Veterans' Preference Information
In accordance with Florida Statute 295.065, certain servicemembers and veterans and the spouses and family members of such servicemembers and veterans receive preference and priority. Provide DD Form 214, Disability Ratings, Marriage Verification, etc. to be considered.
