Job Description
USD 320 Wamego is accepting applications for a Certified Nurse’s Aide. Applicants must hold, at minimum, a CNA license. Hours may vary based on need, but will be approximately 7:45 am – 3:45 pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Pay begins at $14.14–$16.39 per hour. This position will serve Wamego Middle School and Wamego High School students.
Knowledge of current Google Workspace programs is preferred. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and good phone skills are essential. The ability to multi‑task is a must.
Duties may include:
Screening staff and students prior to entry into school buildings
Caring for ill students throughout the school day
Administering medications
Assisting school nurses with documentation
Other duties as assigned
This position will be offered a competitive benefits package. This is a KPERS retirement position.
