
Wild Turkey Lab Assistants

Position Summary
Positions will process wild turkey gobbling data to determine whether selections identified by machine learning tools are gobbles or other sounds. Positions will also assist with processing images of wild turkeys for ongoing analyses.
Responsibilities
Process wild turkey gobbling data to validate calls using provided software.
Download auditory files, complete validation, and email completed files back to staff.
Assist with processing images of wild turkeys for ongoing analyses.
Qualifications
Applicants with education in wildlife ecology, biology, or a similar field are preferred.
Willingness to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
Performance Requirements
Work will involve downloading auditory files, completing validation of calls using software that is provided, and then emailing completed files back to staff.
Physical Demands
Computer work.
