Job Description
Echocardiography Technicians (Cardiac Sonographers) use ultrasound devices and other imaging tools that employ sound waves to create images of the heart. They inspect the chambers, walls, and valves of the heart. The Echo Technician will operate ultrasound equipment, acquire diagnostic images, and assist clinicians in evaluating cardiac function.
Responsibilities
Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to produce high‑quality cardiac images.
Assist clinicians in performing cardiac assessments and interpreting findings.
Document patient studies and maintain accurate imaging records.
Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and infection control protocols.
Coordinate with the clinical team to schedule and prepare patients for studies.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience as an Echocardiography Technologist or similar cardiac sonographer role.
Certification as a Certified Cardiac Sonographer (CCS) or equivalent preferred.
Strong technical competency with ultrasound imaging systems and related equipment.
Excellent communication and team‑work skills.
