1.0 FTE position, weekdays
This provider will work autonomously and collaboratively with our palliative care multi-disciplinary teams as a "float" provider at our network hospitals (Community Hospitals North, East, South, Community Heart & Vascular Hospital, Community Howard Regional Hospital, and Community Hospital Anderson) to deliver palliative and health care services to patients.
Focus on the comfort measures of patients, end of life care, symptom management, as well as assisting with consults and new admissions.
Flexibility to travel between hospitals in Indianapolis

Qualifications
Possess 1-3 years’ Experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care
Be comfortable assessing patients independently
Be compassionate caregivers with excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
Possess highly developed interpersonal and group dynamic skills, as well as proven skills as a consultant/educator to friends, families, and loved ones
Licensure & Certifications
Educational background consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana
