Job Overview
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center.
Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital located in Toms River, NJ, serving over 21,500 inpatients and 178,000 outpatients annually.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
BLS required (American Heart Association).
Preferred: Previous nursing assistant or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
Preferred: Certified nursing assistant.
Scheduling Requirements
Full Time, Night Shift.
Essential Functions
Direct patient caregiver assisting with activities of daily living and providing nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
Providing care appropriate to patient age, based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria.
Ensuring effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
Maintaining ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient status.
Participating in the collaboration of patient plans of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transition.
