Perform daily maintenance of animal facilities, including sanitization of rooms and equipment, and provide routine husbandry for animals (primarily rodents).
Support in vivo research operations by ensuring high-quality vivarium services for internal research teams.
Manage consumable inventory, including ordering and receiving animals and supplies; assist with basic veterinary care and maintain accurate facility records.
Ensure documentation is up to date and compliant with all applicable institutional, governmental, and accreditation standards and regulations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree or coursework in a scientific field (e.g., animal science, biology, or veterinary science) preferred
Training / Certifications
AALAS LAT certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred
