Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. This position will involve working mainly on Wednesdays and occasionally on Fridays.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Valid Dental Hygienist license
X-ray certification
CPR certification
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists with procedures as needed
Take and develop dental X-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the dental office
Keep accurate patient records and documentation
Assist with scheduling and billing as needed
