Job Overview
RN needed to support our Cardiac Rehab Program located offsite in Hillsborough. Ideal applicant will have experience treating and managing post‑surgical cardiac patients and managing telemetry.
Requirements
Current New Jersey RN license
ASN or Nursing Diploma (must agree to complete BSN within 5 years of hire date)
BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred
BSN
Other Duties
Serves as a teacher or coach by identifying patient readiness to learn, formulating and implementing individual teaching plans, and documenting outcomes.
Interprets conditions and offers rationales, which satisfy patient and family needs.
Plans for and documents the needs of the patient.
Performs effectively in life‑threatening emergencies by identifying emergent situations, initiating appropriate interventions, and documenting outcomes.
Demonstrates the ability to reset priorities according to the demands of the clinical situation.
Accurately detects and documents significant changes in a patient's physiological, psychological, cultural and spiritual condition and needs for nursing care based upon a detailed assessment reflective of each patient's status.
Demonstrates the ability to interpret and diagnose changes in patient's condition, plan appropriate interventions to achieve expected outcomes, document changes, interventions and outcomes.
Anticipate problems that might arise in frequently occurring clinical situation,
Collaborates well with physicians and other healthcare team members to determine appropriate interventions.
Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures.
Documents according to policies and procedures.
Performs, demonstrates and documents technical skills specific to Cardiac Rehab.
