Overview
Elite Construction is seeking a General Labor – Construction Clean‑Up worker to assist with commercial and local projects in our area.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment safely, including loaders, backhoes, excavators, track hoes, and skid steers.
Perform yard work and general physical labor on construction sites.
Clean up construction sites and remove debris.
Assist level workers with tasks that require general trade skills.
Maintain a safe working environment, wearing required personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, hardhat, and steel‑toed boots.
Follow all safety regulations, OSHA, company policies, and local agency directives.
Qualifications
Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
Must be able to drive a truck with a trailer.
Must have reliable transportation and a functional vehicle.
Previous construction experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and manipulate hand tools.
Strong problem‑solving skills, teamwork, effective communication, and time management.
Ability to work at various heights, in different weather conditions, and on uneven terrain.
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Must supply own steel‑toed boots.
Physical Demands
Heavy lifting and maneuvering of objects up to 50 lbs.
Repetitive arm and wrist motions.
Standing for extended periods; performing walking, bending, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
Exposed to repetitive walking, lifting, bending, and outdoor conditions.
Work Environment
On‑site work, primarily outdoors but may also be indoors.
Exposure to loud noises, dust, fumes, hot or cold weather, and uneven surfaces.
Work at various heights on unfinished structures.
Compensation
$16.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–5:00 pm (some overtime).
40+ hours per week with possible weekend work.
Overtime required.
