Tissue Services Specialist

To continue operating at our high standard, we’re seeking a Laboratory Technician who has a strong background in human anatomy and a willingness to learn about the cadaveric advantages to continued medical education and training. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator who has a strong ability to coordinate and collaborate across a range of departments. Ultimately, the logistics laboratory technician should be driven by a desire to exceed client expectations and company standards.
Objectives of this role
Execute administrative functions for the tissue operations team.
Work in collaboration with intake and recovery processing teams to accomplish company objectives outlined by management.
Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved sourcing outreach.
Serve as the main point of contact for Innoved clients regarding imaging needs.
Coordinate cremation pick ups and tracking.
Coordinate all imaging needs and appointments with vendors and internal departments.
Update and maintain Innoved database with accurate record keeping.
Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively.
Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to a wide range of obstacles.
Occasionally assist in medical imaging, taking fluoroscopy shots, or bringing specimens to imaging facilities.
Occasionally assist in the intake of cadaveric specimens.
Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong background in human anatomy.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
Overall friendly disposition with an enthusiasm to support the medical donation field.
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand/sit for long periods of time, ascend and descend stairs.
