Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome all customers and set expectations with them.
Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
Act as a leader in optical acumen.
Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
Be proactive, explore root causes of issues, forward‑thinking, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, and drive solutions.
Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
Take pride in store appearance; help keep the store clean, attractive and organized.
Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Show resourcefulness, self‑motivation and a desire for continual learning, improvement and results.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
State licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service and retail experience.
