About the Role
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full‑time School Social Worker for a school setting in Wheeling, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike!

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide IEP counseling services and social‑emotional support

Attend and participate in IEP meetings

Complete IEP documentation and progress reports

Collaborate with school‑based special education teams

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Engage with families and community‑based supports when appropriate

Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school culture

What We’re Looking For

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

Professional Educator License (PEL)

with a School Social Worker endorsement

Experience in schools or special education is a plus

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major asset but not required
