Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate‑to‑high‑risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build‑to‑print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams.
Hold procurement delegation and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Lead development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position requires onsite work at Lockheed Martin Space facilities in Denver, CO or Titusville, FL. Teleworking is not supported.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
3+ years professional experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management (including Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, or Category Management).
Ability to travel approximately 25 %.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP.
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance; must pass drug and background checks.
Desired Skills
Master’s degree or equivalent.
Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry.
5+ years professional experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Prior professional experience managing performance, design, or procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense industry.
Prior professional experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office.
Detail and teamwork oriented with demonstrated organizational skills.
Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers.
Exceptional strategic communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation.
Positive and enthusiastic approach to projects and teams.
Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience leading cross‑functional Supplier Management teams.
Knowledge of all contract types and how to utilize them in various program scenarios.
