Mercy Hospital Ada and Surrounding Communities is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a flexible, incentivized RT position.
Overview
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Perform duties as assigned.
GIG Highlights
$30/hr for CRT / $35/hr for RRT base rate
Variable Shift Incentives
W-2 Employee
4, 8, or 12 hour shifts available
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of a COARC approved Respiratory Care program.
Licensure:
Meets state licensure requirements and holds a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential awarded by the NBRC. PALS required for ER. ACLS required.
Experience:
Minimum one year of experience; orientation does not count.
Other:
Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl minimally.
Preferred Experience
Preferred critical care experience.
Equipment Used
All appropriate respiratory care devices.
