Role Purpose
To provide legal advice and general legal support to Glory Global Solutions LATAM region in all corporate and commercial matters, identifying and arranging appropriate local legal support, either internally or externally. Managing and supporting external lawyers and internal legal, governance and compliance initiatives to support top‑line growth and bottom‑line efficiencies within the expanding LATAM region. Supporting the Regional Head, Group General Counsel and Regional General Counsel: Americas in reviewing and advising on strategic and business initiatives to ensure legal compliance and best‑in‑class offerings to the market.

Key Responsibilities

Support, motivate and develop the LATAM legal function, establish leadership network and agree priorities and ensure legal objectives are met.

Manage drafting, evaluation and negotiation through to execution of a variety of commercial agreements, review of customer proposed terms and conditions, working closely with the LATAM country teams and Regional General Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across the region.

Serve as the legal point of contact for internal and external customers on contractual matters, ensuring timely review and approval/reconciliation of variations; maintain contractual records and documentation.

Train employees as required on core governance and compliance matters, procedures, group policies and initiatives and legal compliance.

Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures to identify areas of recurrent pressure or friction for improvement opportunities.

Work with Finance teams to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls, etc.

Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.

Handle ongoing issue and change management, monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing, etc.) and support contract close‑out, extension or renewal.

Perform pre‑litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights, consulting with external counsel on behalf of the business where required.

Manage various projects and deadlines, advise Regional leadership on contract status, legal risks and business terms of key projects and customer transactions.

Provide assistance with strategic partnership deals, mergers and acquisitions.

Research unique legal issues impacting the organization by identifying applicable statutes, judicial decisions, and codes; keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the Region and its affiliates.

Manage a paralegal or junior attorney based in Brazil, including setting objectives, assigning tasks, and managing performance.

Required Education and Qualifications

Solid international experience and a broad understanding of all aspects of commercial law, including software, hardware, SaaS, IT services and procurement contracts.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills, proven ability to manage external counsel and internal clients.

Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic, logical problem‑solving ability.

Leadership, autonomy, and the ability to make difficult decisions and provide substantiated arguments.

Locally qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience from major firms/brands and relevant company experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; another language (ideally Portuguese) would be an advantage.

Excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and proven drafting ability.

Confidence, strong commercial instincts, and ability to work within a competitively challenging environment.

Ability to develop solutions to complex legal questions, work under pressure, and deliver results.

Highly self‑motivated, directed, with keen attention to detail.

Collaborative and proactive style.
