to provide compassionate care and support to youth with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs in our short-term Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home (YCTH) in Culpeper, VA .

Wednesday, Thursday 11p-7a with Friday, Saturday 7p-7a

Wednesday, Thursday 3-11 with Friday, Saturday 7p-7a

Your Role in Our Mission
The

Behavior Technician

will help lead daily programs and group activities designed to promote growth, engagement, and skill development. You will provide rehabilitative interventions and implement therapeutic strategies to help youth achieve their goals, while also assisting with personal care as needed to ensure safety and dignity. Collaboration is key! You will work closely with primary care providers, community crisis resources, and families to deliver consistent, compassionate, and coordinated care. You will also provide education, guidance, and a judgment‑free, supportive environment where every voice is heard. As needed, you may support our Adult Transitional Home located nearby. Additionally, you will maintain daily documentation and reporting in our electronic health system of record.

Competitive Rate: $19 – $24 / hr based on experience and BT level

Receive a sign‑on and retention bonus paid out at successful completion of 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year (full‑time new hires only). Plus, additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits!

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required

Education:

BT I: High School diploma and behavior health experience

BT II: QMHP (trainee), or

The ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire

Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
