Job Description
The successful applicant will teach Language Arts and/or Reading in grades 6-8, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
In accordance with Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon verified years of experience and degree level. 200 Day employment term.
Specialized Skills & Qualifications
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to be a qualified and effective candidate for the vacancy.
Bachelor's degree and holds or can obtain WV teacher certification in English or English/Language Arts Grades 5-9 or 5-12.
If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position, then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit, alternative certification, Teacher-in-Residence, or a perm sub can be considered.
