Position Summary
As a Valet Attendant you are the first impression for guests and the final goodbye. You create a welcoming, professional experience from arrival through departure, while safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles. You communicate clearly, move quickly, and maintain a polished presence that shapes the guest experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations on claim tickets.
Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to key-handling procedures and safety protocols.
Maintain compliance with attendance, time‑keeping and tip-reporting policies.
Keep valet areas clean, organized and presentable.
Handle challenging situations with professionalism, resolve problems promptly and support teammates.
Maintain regular attendance, arrive on time in uniform, and uphold PMC standards for safety and efficiency.
Perform additional tasks as needed and attend required staff meetings and training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High school diploma or GED; customer-service experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; clean background check.
Excellent guest service, communication, active listening and personalized assistance.
Ability to follow company policies, adapt to changing environments, manage competing demands, and maintain safety procedures.
Dependable, punctual, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly; comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Professional appearance and grooming in line with uniform standards.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods in indoor and outdoor settings, often in varied weather. Work may involve noise, moving vehicles, and exposure to the elements.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate plus tips; average $13–$20+ per hour (after tips and base pay). PMC complies with pay-transparency regulations.
