Job Summary
Responsible for cold food preparation as designated, makes up patient tray, and delivers nourishment preparation and delivery. Responsible for general sanitation to include dishwashing, warewashing, equipment cleaning, and area sanitation as assigned. Other related duties as assigned. Follow department established policies and procedures.

Food to be utilized following state and county health regulations

Dishwashing and warewashing to be conducted following state and county regulations

Safety

Work to be conducted following safety guidelines

Hospital and department policies and procedures to be followed at all times.

Assure punctuality and regular attendance

Required Skills/Abilities

Ability to prepare cold foods following standardized recipes using quality control standards.

Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Good motor skills including hand eye coordination.

Physically able to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education & Experience

2 years of food handling or customer service experience preferred

California Food Handlers Card or Managers ServSafe Certificate required

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
