
Custodian Weekend Shift

Sunday, Friday, Saturday 5am - 5:30pm
Work 36 hours and get paid for 40.
You will need to train on 1st shift for 2 weeks. Mon-Fri 6am - 2:30pm
The Position:
The Custodial Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This role ensures all production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces meet sanitation and safety standards to support efficient operations and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize production floors and work areas
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris from manufacturing and warehouse spaces as needed
Empty trash, recycling, and hazardous waste containers following proper disposal procedures
Restock cleaning supplies and paper products
Operate custodial equipment such as a floor scrubber
Follow all
safety guidelines , including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Support compliance with OSHA and company cleanliness standards
Assist with deep cleaning during shutdowns or scheduled maintenance periods
Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous custodial or janitorial experience, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings, is a plus
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow instructions
Basic understanding of workplace safety standards
Functional Requirements
Consistently able to:
Manually lift and move product and materials up to 55 lbs. through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to reach forward, reach overhead, lift, carry, crouch and bend.
Power grip and wrist turn, including the use of hand tools and/or steering for truck.
Walk, sit or stand for up to 12 hours with intermittent breaks.
Push / pull 100lbs.
Work in a non-climate controlled environment, including hot and humid conditions.
Walk up and down steps
Climb ladders and stairs of varying height
Wear task-based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Protective Footwear
Hearing Protection
Protective Eyewear
Gloves
Additional PPE may as required by specific tasks
