Transportation Support Analyst
in
NA LOGISTICS OPERATIONS
located in
Hunt Valley, MD . The analyst reports to a
NA LOGISTICS OPERATIONS MANAGER SR.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and maintaining data within SAP to comply with business rules.
Providing rate quotes to business teams for analysis, spot rates, prepaid and add shipments; organizing CPU requests and maintenance; supporting shipment costing error resolution.
Updating freight workflow data requirements; supporting invoice error resolution and GL coding requirements.
Receiving requests and handling order and shipment inquiries that must be synchronized between SAP and Transplace TMS solutions.
Capturing, organizing, and storing freight BOLs and invoices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Distribution, Accounting, or a related field.
One year of experience in freight, accounting, or finance roles; detail-oriented, self‑motivated starter with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and related tools.
Professional demeanor to respond to customer questions and communicate promptly; frequent interaction with various business teams and organizational levels; leadership on scorecard items and updates.
Professional maturity: proven ability to handle confidential information and adapt to rapidly changing demands within a plant operating environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively and cross‑functionally with all levels of plant hierarchy.
Exceptional PC software skills, including proficiency with MS Office Professional and SAP.
CPM or APICS certification (desired).
Experience with plant/DC operations and metrics to understand relevant business context (desired).
