The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.Washington, DC: $290,000 - $318,000

Plano, Texas: $273,000 - $298,000**Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan:** Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.**Your Health**

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.**Your Financial Security**We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Ericsson offers many other company-paid benefits such as financial wellness programs, educational assistance, matching gifts, and recognition programs.We are hiring an experienced investigations counsel and manager in Ericsson’s group legal and compliance function to manage a team of investigators and to lead investigations primarily within North and South America. Corporate & Government Investigations (CGI) is responsible for the investigation of potential legal and compliance violations within Ericsson and is a critical support in ensuring the effectiveness and credibility of the Company’s ethics and compliance program, defending the Company’s commitment to integrity, building trust with stakeholders (including government authorities), and ultimately driving the Company’s sustainable success.

The holder of this exciting role leads investigations and manages a team of approximately eight professionals located in North and South America, including lawyers, investigators and analysts. The position reports to the Head of Corporate Investigations.

The holder of this role collaborates with colleagues in CGI, legal and compliance and the business on the execution of investigations from allegation assessment through investigation and remediation.

## In this role, you will:* Manage the handling of internal investigations within your “hub” in the Americas; , including complex internal investigations, responses to investigations by government authorities, and cases relevant to the Audit & Compliance Committee* Conduct internal investigations of reported Code of Business Ethics violations in a forensically sound, robust, fair and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant laws (including employment laws and data privacy laws)* Supervise investigators and attorneys who lead, plan, execute and report on investigations according to a defined framework while also using judgment and making credibility determinations; gather and review evidence and conduct financial and other forensic reviews; and conduct witness interviews* Supervise team members, including attorneys, paralegals, investigators, and/or other roles, including by setting expectations and holding people accountable, providing training and coaching as needed, resolving conflicts and building morale* Collaborate with colleagues on all aspects of investigations, including intake of allegations, staffing of investigations, investigation handling, and remediation, to ensure consistency and transparency; develop relationships with stakeholders including litigation counsel, auditors, and human resources professionals* Support our engagement with government enforcement authorities and regulators regarding investigations and remediation* Provide input on the need for and maintaining attorney client privilege; ensuring that investigations are conducted under attorney-client privilege where applicable and using internal resources or external counsel* Ensure the preservation and collection of relevant data and the timely review of data; manage the information flow in our internal case management system; collaborate with colleagues concerning collection of digital evidence and data privacy matters* Draft clear written reports summarizing investigation findings, edit investigations reports by investigators, provide comments and feedback on reports drafted by outside counsel* Engage with relevant decision-makers on the status of investigation findings on a timely basis and present summaries of the investigation
