Position Overview
Our growing company is in need of a Branch Product Manager for the Arizona market based out of Tempe, AZ.
Responsibilities
Coordinates quotes by working with sales staff, suppliers and the corporate Product department to develop a competitive price that offers the largest gross profit margin.
Provides technical product knowledge to branch employees by sharing information with Sales and support staff and by facilitating monthly product training that keeps the branch up‑to‑date on current technology and industry trends.
Drives and promotes key supplier lines by obtaining maximum exclusive competitive advantages from suppliers.
Gains market information by utilizing all possible sources such as sales reps, networking, and trade publications.
Develops relationships with supplier factory representatives to achieve most favored status and resolve problems.
Provides product support by responding with urgency to issues and using problem‑solving skills to help resolve pricing, accounting and inventory management issues.
Maintains a cost database by adding, changing and deleting cost and ship debit information with accuracy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years’ experience in a related role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous sales and electronics industry experience is also preferred.
Desired Skills & Attributes
Excellent knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, gross profit analysis, market and vendor analysis, and economics of distribution.
Intermediate proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Typing speed of 40 words per minute preferred.
Additional Requirements
This position requires use of information or access to hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the role, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Only candidates authorized to work in the United States will be considered.
