Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the
Assistant Operations Manager - Rooms
is primarily responsible for the oversight of the Front Office and Housekeeping team. The role involves staffing, interviewing, training, colleague development, and scheduling. It works closely with colleagues from all operations areas and is a highly visible role that interacts with both colleagues and guests. The ideal candidate must be ready to respond to a wide variety of requests and address concerns in a timely manner.
Compensation
The salary for this position is $56,800 to $70,000.
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
2-3 years of progressive hotel operations experience.
Service oriented style with professional presentation skills.
Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, exceptional customer service, and ability to improve the bottom line.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
Must have open availability and be available to work a flexible schedule.
