Job Duties

Accept donated clothing, shoes, and household goods through the drive-thru at our Fixed Donation Center.

Engage with donors and communicate the impact donating has on our community, partners, and planet.

Interact with truck drivers and other team members to organize and recycle donations in an indoor and outdoor situation.

Help sustain and maintain a clean and orderly Fixed Donation Center, based on company operational standards.

Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading donor vehicles and box trucks.

Possess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions.

Loading and unloading carts.

Inspecting and sorting clothing, shoes, and other items.

Prepping and organizing products for recycling.

Other duties may be assigned by a working supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Strong work ethic.

Able to understand and execute company policies and procedures.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize.

Capable of building and sustaining relationships with peers, management, and donors.

Able to accurately keep records and communicate progress to management.

Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities at one time.

Naturally mission driven, guided by core values.

Physical Demands

Occasionally - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up to 14-foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling and smelling.

Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level.

Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing.

Other

Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed.

Working environment includes inside of building with controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures.
