Parts Manager
Job Overview

in the Greater Boston area is seeking an
experienced Dealership Parts Manager
to lead its Parts Department. This role requires
current or previous dealership Parts Manager experience
and
hands‑on proficiency with CDK DMS . The ideal candidate is process‑driven, inventory‑focused, and capable of leading a department in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations of the parts department
Manage the full parts sales process from inquiry through delivery
Ensure accurate inventory levels, controls, and stocking procedures
Perform regular bin checks and inventory audits
Research, price, and source OEM parts using manufacturer catalogs
Utilize
CDK DMS
for inventory management, billing, reporting, and parts transactions
Communicate clearly and professionally with service advisors, technicians, body shop partners, and retail customers
Review body shop estimates to confirm correct parts ordering and pricing
Source out‑of‑stock parts and initiate emergency orders as necessary
Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed to repair orders
Answer inbound calls and provide accurate pricing and availability information
Process retail payments and obtain credit authorization when applicable
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Dealership Parts Manager experience REQUIRED
CDK DMS experience REQUIRED
Strong leadership, organizational, and time‑management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to interpret technical, safety, and maintenance documentation
Strong math skills, including percentages, discounts, and inventory calculations
Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced, high‑volume dealership environment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
