Overview
The Grant Associate will play a key role in securing funding by researching opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and managing grant reporting and compliance. This position works cross-functionally with leadership, finance, and program teams to ensure funding strategies align with organizational goals and drive measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify grant opportunities across government, foundation, corporate, and community sources
Write and submit compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports
Manage the full grant lifecycle, including tracking deadlines, compliance, and reporting requirements
Partner with internal teams to gather program data, budgets, and impact metrics
Build and maintain relationships with funders and external partners
Track grant activity and maintain organized records, calendars, and reporting tools
Support development strategies and fundraising initiatives in collaboration with leadership
Provide program teams with grant and contract updates and support
Qualifications
2–3+ years of grant writing and management experience
Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred)
Experience with government and/or foundation grants
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office; Adobe tools a plus
