Purpose of Role, Specific Responsibilities (Included but not limited to)
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation of Diocesan Partnerships
After a formal collaboration, serve as the primary relationship manager for partner diocese, ensuring effective rollout and support of Alpha programs into parishes and schools.
Provide ongoing support for identified diocesan staffers, equipping them through Alpha training to coach and mentor parish leaders.
Develop strategies for long‑term diocesan engagement, evaluation, and adaptation to strengthen partnerships over time.
Innovate diocesan Alpha plans to integrate Alpha into diocesan structures and pathways, including training diocesan staff in the Alpha Suite (Alpha Film Series, Alpha Youth, and The Marriage Course).
Parish Level Support
Envision and support parish ministry leaders to use Alpha as the starting line for missionary discipleship pathways.
Help create pathways for OCIA, sacramental prep, youth ministry, Catholic schools, multicultural communities, universities, prisons, workplaces, young adults, fallen‑away Catholics, and seminaries.
Promote and facilitate digital parish envision events and webinars.
Envision Events & Training
Ensure contextualization for Alpha’s Explore, 101, Grow trainings for Catholic settings (with training team).
Facilitate regular Catholic digital and online webinars, trainings, and mentoring opportunities (with Catholic coaches) for ministry leaders, especially for partners.
Coordinate Catholic‑specific Alpha in‑person events (Made for Mission) to help envision and train diocesan and parish leaders.
Collaborate with dioceses and parishes to host regional in‑person Alpha workshops and trainings.
Ensure Catholic presenters and storytellers for TAC and NTLs with events and training teams.
Communication, Data & Ongoing Support
Maintain calendar and consistent communication with Catholic ministry leaders through monthly updates, newsletters, and upcoming events (online & in person).
Create ongoing communication & practical support for Diocesan partner leaders and parish staff implementing Alpha.
Utilize Salesforce for Catholic team data needs.
Identify, gather, and share compelling Catholic Alpha stories to inspire leaders and showcase impact.
Strategic Support
Contribute to the strategic vision of Alpha Catholic by evaluating opportunities for growth and recommending innovative approaches for Catholic outreach.
Assist the National Director with donor engagement, fundraising initiatives, and advisory board development.

Essential Skills, Experience and Education
Required:
Practicing Catholic who supports the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or related field
2–5 years of parish ministry experience
Some Travel
Preferred:
Experience collaborating with diocesan leadership
Experience implementing Alpha in a parish or diocesan setting
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred, with experience ministering to Latino community
