12 hour rotating swing shift (4 days 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., 4 days off, 4 nights 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m., 4 nights off), including overtime as needed.**Job Summary:**
Responsible for inspecting products according to specification, documenting results of analysis, and notifying supervisor and management of out-of-specification results. Will also collect, inspect, and grade samples according to physical appearance (defects), and perform moisture checks, operate other lab equipment- oil analyzer, milling/whiteness reader, conduct milling yields and running lab shelling and milling equipment.**Basic Qualifications*** Must be able to work and communicate in a timely manner with mill personnel.* Must be able to work with a team but also work independently and be self-disciplined. (At nights, this may be the only on-site QC person, reliability is a must.* Must possess basic math skills. (add, subtract, multiply, divide)* Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.* Must be able to climb up to 20 feet.* Must be able to Lift up to 100 lbs.* Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.* Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.* Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).* Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.* Other duties assigned by supervisor.We are an Equal Employment/Affirmative Action employer.
