In addition, we are committed to you, and your career advancement and we will provide you the opportunity to be successful.# **POSITION PROFILE:**Process soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.# **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:*** Receive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.* Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished- product is inspected and meets quality standards.* Turn in all articles found in Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.* Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints as they may arise to achieve guest satisfaction.* Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.* Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to the department to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.* Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.* Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.* Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.# **DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:****Education:** Some High school diploma or equivalent experience.**Experience:** No formal experience required for the position**Skills and Abilities:** Ability to recognize and work with numbers. Operate industrial laundry equipment.
