
Equipment Support Technician 3rd shift

Primary Function
Perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment following all safety, predictive, and preventive maintenance procedures. They will also have working knowledge of the operating procedures and processes they are working on be and be able to assist operators on a technical level to ensure quality standards are met.
The position is for the 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00AM, but the training will be in the first shift for around 1 to 2 months.
Specific Responsibilities
Maintain production / development machines on the floor
Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment during production
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance or repairs for equipment
Perform troubleshooting activities including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
Read and interpret equipment manuals to understand equipment and assist in troubleshooting
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments / alignments to machines
Assist in initial machine setup before releasing to operators for production
Use a variety of hand and power tools
Detect operational errors / defects and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
Comply with all safety regulations and LOTO procedures

Hands On Problem Solving
Excellent computer skills
Good math skills
Willing and able to lift 30 lbs. and push heavy carts
Ability to multi-task and monitor multiple stations at one time
Ability to follow all safety and environmental standards for the department.
Requirements
High school diplomaor equivalentand 3+ years relevant manufacturing experience in a similar equipment support position, or2 Year degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
