Spring Arbor Senior Living – Frederick, MD is hiring a Part‑Time Driver (Transportation / Shuttle Driver / Resident Transport) to safely transport our residents while creating a warm, engaging experience along the way.
Spring Arbor of Frederick is looking for a driving job where you can make a difference every day.
You must be able to pass a
DOT physical .
Schedule
Part‑Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Consistent daytime hours
No late nights

What You’ll Do
Safely transport residents to doctor appointments, shopping trips, and local outings.
Assist residents with entering/exiting the vehicle safely.
Perform vehicle safety checks, cleaning, and basic upkeep.
Provide a friendly, engaging experience during trips.
Support activities and outings within the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford areas.
Enjoy a positive, team‑oriented environment.
Build relationships with residents daily.
Stable part‑time opportunity in a growing senior living community.
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services for the residents of the Community.
Areas of Responsibility
Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking, and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director/Concierge and the Executive Director.
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Assist in loading packages, boxes, sacks, etc.
Coordinate community transportation services ensuring the maintenance of the vehicles and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age.
Good judgment, time management, decision making, and safety awareness skills.
Positive Criminal Background Screening.
Valid driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required) for the state where the vehicle is operated.
Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record; record must be checked annually.
