Definition
Under the supervision of the 3 North Manager:
This individual provides direct monitoring of high‑risk patients to ensure safety via continuous observation using the iObserverTM System. Promotes patient safety in all aspects of the role and upholds standards of privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year in an acute hospital setting and minimum of one year as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Sitter, Psychiatric Technician or other nursing support role.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and guest relations expertise.
Must have tact, good judgment, great communication skills and patience in dealing with patients who are at risk for falls and injury.
Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
Basic typing and computer operation skills.
