Job Summary
Manages responsibilities and staff for ambulatory operations, shared services EHR implementation and integration projects. Oversees all aspects of large‑scale, complex EHR, operations, integration and conversion projects. Coordinates EHR implementation tasks, milestones, practice acquisition administration, conversion to Adventist Health network, start‑up facility initiatives, facility relicensing, relocations, and ongoing business relationships. Provides operations project oversight in a matrix reporting relationship, working with leaders and management teams on project planning, scope, requirements, stakeholder identification, risk management, timelines, and integration initiatives. Supervises assigned personnel in both direct and collaborative partnership structures with independent judgment.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or equivalent education/experience (required)

Master's Degree (preferred)

Five years of relevant healthcare experience (preferred)

One year of leadership experience (preferred)

Experience building and leading project delivery teams with both directed and matrixed resources (preferred)

Essential Functions

Manage shared services EHR implementation projects and initiatives, from small tasks to large‑scale complex projects with significant funding and revenue impacts. Assign tasks, analyze requests, develop plans, collaborate with team members, hold them accountable, mitigate risks, and drive projects to successful completion.

Manage ambulatory operations integration and conversion project activities: assign projects, analyze requests, develop plans, collaborate with teams, hold accountable, mitigate risks, and drive projects to success. Partner on acquisition administration of independent practices, facilitate due diligence, conversion projects, and other integration initiatives. Act as project owner of complex large‑scale projects with significant budget impacts.

Work cross‑functionally with ambulatory staff, physicians, and administration/executives to analyze information, create and execute EHR implementation and acquisition and conversion plans. Align goals and objectives; collaborate with other system departments to ensure deliverables are met.

Apply and utilize standard project management tools, processes, documents, reporting mechanisms, and methodologies. Communicate project tasks, status, reports and presentations to executive‑level stakeholders. Build change management and communication plans.

Facilitate working groups to share information, analyze project requirements and scope. Negotiate to secure appropriate resources aligned with project goals. Analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions with teams. Delegate tasks with clear expectations, coach, and hold team members accountable.

Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
