
Quality Assurance Technician (Day shift)

Position Summary
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll help ensure our products meet the highest standards for safety, consistency, and compliance. You’ll work directly on the production floor, reviewing documentation, performing inspections, and supporting teams with quality guidance. Your attention to detail and commitment to doing things right help us deliver the products people love — with confidence and care.
Responsibilities
Perform in-process testing and AQL inspections
Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing
Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy
Approve pre-startup activities and equipment checks
Release batch records and work orders
Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance
Support teams with GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance
Participate in shift review meetings
Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
Skills
Proficiency with using computers, tablets, and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing equipment
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Team-oriented and dependable
Schedule
This role operates on the 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Onboarding is a structured 4–5‑day program, typically scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, completed during the first week.
Compensation & Benefits
Approximate hourly pay: $21.48. Benefits include a performance-based incentive structure, a competitive total rewards package, a 401(k) with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
