ADB is seeking an Operations Supervisor to directly oversee utility construction projects, including internal and external crew management, in adherence to quality, safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of utility construction practices, people‑management skills, and a quality‑and‑safety aligned work ethic with a strong

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides field‑level management and oversight of work performed by internal construction team members and external sub‑contractor teams, including production, safety, and quality
Oversees direct labor field crews, including time, attendance, performance, production, quality, and safety
Ensures job site readiness; permits and locates are verified prior to crew scheduling and distribution
Oversees all project materials, tools, and equipment, including utilization plans, assignment, and management
Ensures daily production goals are communicated, verified and met by field crews
Has a basic understanding of project financials; can identify profit and loss impacts and discuss solutions with Project Management proactively
Processes, reviews, and approves subcontractor and vendor payments and invoices
Provides required data on project production and status for timely customer invoicing and collection
Upholds ADB’s safety culture onsite, leads by example and drives the ZERO philosophy throughout all project sites
Acts as a subject‑matter expert in quality control to ensure projects comply with project plans and to drive change, improvements, and escalated corrections when issues are found
Communicates with internal and external leadership daily, escalating out‑of‑compliance work, safety, production or quality control concerns
Creates and provides detailed reports, documents, drawings, and photos that include material verifications, quality control, and production results via electronic systems, trackers, and databases
Performs other position duties when requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and driving
Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer, and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on project sites
When working onsite, will be required to wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety boots
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
3+ years of utility construction experience with a strong technical knowledge of wireline installations within the telecommunications industry required
2+ years of field leadership experience operating a foreman or higher level required
Valid driver license with the ability to drive a company vehicle required
High school diploma or equivalent required
The starting pay for this position is $70,000 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
