STAMPING INSPECTOR
HOURS: 5AM TO 12PM, M-F

WAGE: $23+/HOUR

Position Summary
The Stamp Inspector is responsible for examining metal or plastic stamped parts to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards. This role supports production by identifying defects early and maintaining compliance with safety and manufacturing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect stamped parts using visual checks and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality against blueprints and specs

Identify defects such as cracks, warping, misalignment, or improper cuts

Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation

Separate and report non-conforming materials

Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to correct issues

Follow all safety procedures and quality control standards (ISO or internal systems)

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (technical training is a plus)

Experience in manufacturing, stamping, or quality inspection preferred

Ability to read blueprints and understand basic measurements

Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, etc.)

Attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy

Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
