Position Overview
Bruin Waste dba Elite Recycling & Disposal is seeking a highly organized and proactive
Office Manager
to lead our Customer Services and department in Pagosa Springs. This role serves as a critical link between our company and our customers, ensuring excellent service delivery, efficient office operations, and strong team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Support Customer Service Representatives, Sales Manager, and Division Manager with daily operations
Oversee customer accounts, billing processes, and payment applications
Manage and execute the collections process to ensure timely follow-up and cash flow consistency
Resolve customer concerns professionally and within appropriate timeframes
Process billing cycles (monthly, quarterly, and 28-day services) and manage accounts receivable
Analyze and report on account activity, including residential, commercial, and temporary services
Provides approval and/or submittal of AP invoices and credit card receipts through the Shared file.
Ensure accuracy in reconciliation and weekly cash reporting
Oversee dispatch work orders, landfill tickets, and service postings
Maintain customer communications regarding service, pricing, and route updates
Train and support Customer Service Representatives in effective communication and service standards
Assist Operations Manager with approving employee timekeeping and calculating CSR bonus incentives
Assists HR Manager in new hire onboarding for the local office and DOT requirements of the local CDL Drivers
Generate reports to track services, accounts, and performance metrics
Collaborate with Sales and IT on pricing updates and system accuracy
Assist in budgeting, planning, and implementing customer service programs
Maintain strong working relationships across departments and with external partners
Provide backup support for operations and dispatch functions as needed
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred
OR
minimum 3 years of management experience
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and office systems
Experience with dispatch or billing systems (Navusoft, Trashflow, iSolved preferred)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Valid Colorado Driver’s License required

Physical & Work Requirements
Primarily sedentary with extended computer use
