Overview
The Assembly Worker Structures Sr - F22 supports the team responsible for installing and reworking structural components of aircraft assemblies.
Responsibilities
Perform difficult structural pick‑up and rework, including removal, replacement, or realignment of ribs, bulkheads, stringers, and fittings.
Execute trimming, reforming, and altering of parts and structures as required.
Fabricate detail parts such as shims, splices, gussets, angles, brackets, doublers, stiffeners, and patches.
Carry out portable milling operations on wing and center‑section attaching joints.
Design and improvise shop aids to facilitate assembly and installation.
Work under pressurized conditions or in confined areas, maintaining applicable safety and medical requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience as an aircraft structural assembly worker.
Proficiency with blueprints and engineering documents.
Ability to perform precise measurements and layouts.
Knowledge of structural assembly and fabrication processes.
Desired Skills
Aerospace and Defense structural assembly experience.
A&P license.
Required Certifications & Clearances
U.S. citizenship.
Secret security clearance.
Pressurizer certification.
