We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.**Job Summary**The Senior Project Manager, reporting to the Administrative Director of Quality and partnering closely with the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) and Enterprise Quality Team, will independently lead and manage enterprise-wide quality initiatives. These initiatives span key domains of the quality infrastructure—including Hospital Quality, Compliance, Infection Control, Risk & Safety, and other system-wide priorities—in alignment with Mass General Brigham’s Quality strategy and goals.

This role requires exceptional organizational and project management skills, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly complex, matrixed environment. The Senior Project Manager will work with a high degree of independence while collaborating closely with teams across the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO), enterprise hospitals, and external partners.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple, high-priority projects aligned with CQO and enterprise-wide quality goals.

• Partner with executive, clinical, and operational leaders to drive initiatives that improve patient safety and quality outcomes.

• Develop, implement, and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables; proactively identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

• Facilitate enterprise-wide working groups and/or committees, ensuring clear objectives, effective collaboration, and measurable results.

• Create and maintain project documentation and records (e.g., distribution lists, organizational charts, agendas, meeting notes/minutes) to ensure transparency and accountability.

• Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise and with external vendors/partners.

• Promote and model Mass General Brigham values in all interactions and decisions, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, continuous learning, and collaboration.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.

• Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

• Communicates regularly on project status with project stakeholders.

• Owns project plans for multiple large-scale projects.

• Provides guidance to project coordinators and project managers.

• Identifies potential risks early, analyzes the possible impact, and develops mitigation strategies.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field of Study or equivalent years of experience required, Master's Degree in a Related Field of Study preferred* 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare industry required* Previous experience in a leadership, lead, or team support role is required (0–1 years).**Skills/Abilities/Competencies*** Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
