Construction Operations Manager
EmergencyMD, Littleton, CO, United States
At Polar Field Services (PFS), we support construction and operations in some of the most extreme environments on earth-including work tied to the National Science Foundation Arctic program with Battelle.
We're looking for a Construction Operations Manager who owns projects end-to-end-schedule, cost, quality, and team performance.
This is not a hands-on role. It's about leading the work, solving problems, and delivering in complex, high-accountability environments.
What You’ll Do
Lead construction projects from planning through closeout
Manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
Identify risks early and drive solutions
Lead a small, high-impact team
Coordinate across clients, engineers, and vendors
Support proposals, estimating, and company growth
What You Bring
10+ years construction management experience
Proven ownership of projects, budgets, and schedules
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and contracts
Bonus:
federal contracting, remote/austere environments, Primavera P6, OSHA 30, PMP/CCM
Why PFS
100% employee-owned (ESOP)
People-first culture with real accountability
Work that’s meaningful, complex, and never boring
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
If you’re someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and delivers‑especially when it’s not easy, you should apply!
