60 semester hours at an accredited institution of higher education;
an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education;
a qualifying score on one of the state-approved assessment exams (ParaPro or ParaPathways).
ParaPro exam scores will be accepted through August 31, 2026.
ParaPathways exam scores will be accepted effective September 1, 2026.
