This role is supporting our AmerisourceBergen business, which offers supply chain services to healthcare providers and health systems in the United States.
This role manages the warehouse operations within an assigned Distribution Center. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing warehouse operations, generally in a large, high volume, highly automated and complex facility. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.Promote and lead with Cencora's purpose and guiding principles and develop a culture of inclusion, equity, and diversity in the DC.Monitors performance and productivity measures in the facility and is a change agent for the purpose of maximizing earnings and reducing expenses and driving quality in the facility. Reviews and monitors standard operating procedures; makes observations and recommends improvements to promote customer experience, efficiency, accuracy, improved service, and lower costs.Performs related duties as assigned. **Education:** Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.**Work Experience:** Normally requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.**Skills and Knowledge:** Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating system.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Good analytical and mathematical skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines. Good decision-making skills. Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
