The End-of-Line Quality Inspector performs a final visual inspection of our finished recreational marine boat engines. This is a fast-paced, on-your-feet position and is ideal for candidates with extraordinary attention to detail, strong communication skills, computer skills and basic mechanical skills..
Essential Job Functions
Inspect fully assembled and/or partially assembled marine engines, including various internal combustion inboard engines and electric outboard motors.
Utilize your engine know-how to identify any potential issues or defects
Work closely with the Quality Manager and Production Team to ensure every engine that leaves our building meets Ilmor's high standards for quality and performance.
Required Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of engines
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Team player with ability to mobilize support when necessary
Ability to organize and plan multiple tasks effectively

Day Shift, "4-10s" - Mon - Thurs anticipated, 6:30am - 5pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch and two paid breaks. Based on workload, this position may shift to "5-8s" - Monday thru Friday.
Compensation: $20 - $22/hour based on experience
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand. The employee is frequently required to use their hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, use tools or controls and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electric shock, and explosives.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, some instances of this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
