Education LevelHigh School## Job Description:CurbSide is seeking a detail-oriented **Fertilization Technician** to join our team. This position is responsible for the efficient and safe application of fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns, trees, and shrubs. If you have an eye for turf health and enjoy working independently in the field, this could be a great fit.---### **Key Responsibilities:*** Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides according to schedule and application standards* Operate and maintain equipment such as spreaders, sprayers, and company service vehicles* Identify lawn issues such as weeds, pests, and nutrient deficiencies* Accurately record all product usage and application details per company and regulatory requirements* Follow all safety guidelines for handling, storing, and applying lawn care products* Assist with product loading, mixing, and cleanup of equipment* Perform basic maintenance on tools and application equipment## Qualifications:* Experience with turf care applications preferred* Familiarity with spreaders, sprayers, and related lawn care equipment* Valid driver’s license required; clean driving record preferred* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions* Strong attention to detail and safety procedures* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently### **Requirements:*** Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record* Must be able to pass a drug screening* Experience applying fertilizers and herbicide products* **Must hold a valid MN Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator License*** Comfortable operating a smartphone for tracking jobs, documentation, and communication---### **Physical Requirements:*** Able to remain on feet for extended periods* Comfortable working in adverse weather (heat, cold, wind, rain)* Able to lift/push up to 75 lbs. multiple times per day---### **Work Conditions:*** Outdoor work across various residential and commercial properties* Regular exposure to fertilizers, herbicides, and weather conditions* Fast-paced, physical environment with minimal supervision
