POSITION:
CUSTODIAN (FULLTIME – 2:30PM UNTIL 11:00PM)
COMPENSATION:
PER RTM BUS DRIVERS/CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCEASSOCIATION
LOCATION:
DISTRICT WIDE
REPORTS TO:
SUPERVISOR OF MAINTENANCE & OPERATION AND FACILITY FOREMAN
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision of the Facility Foreman and/or school district administrator, cleans and maintains offices, halls, bathrooms, classrooms, and similar areas of a school building; secures the building upon closing; and performs related work as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or the equivalent. Valid Pennsylvania license. Must have custodial experience. Ability to carry out written and oral instructions. Ability to get along with administrators, students, staff, and the public. Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity to perform all required tasks. Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI Clearances are required.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to hear (maximum of 40 decibels loss); see with near acuity of 20 inches or less and far acuity of 20 feet or more; ability to sit for extended periods; subject to inside environmental conditions.
