Location: International High School, Paterson, New Jersey. Program: Pre-program July 1–2, 2026; Program July 6–August 6, 2026; Post-program August 10–13, 2026. Days: Monday–Thursday (no Fridays). Hours: 8:15 AM–3:15 PM.

Job Description

Must be able to report to work in-person and in designated school facilities during the duration of the program.

Must be available to work in-person during program hours, as needed and required by the Director of Secondary Education, Director of Guidance and/or Summer School Site Administrators.

Must be able to work Monday–Thursday the entire length of the program, as well as pre‑ and post‑program preparations, from

July 1, 2026, through August 13, 2026 , as per program needs.

Allocated work days for registration, transcript reviews, scheduling, & program reporting needs will be primarily at the start and end of the summer program but will include additional monitoring, as needed.

Must be a current employee of the Paterson Public Schools; Individuals employed as Substitutes need not apply.

Appropriate NJ Guidance Certificate.

Prior experience preferred.

Ability to assist Site Administrator with scheduling, registration, and other items, as needed.

Must have a compatible, functional/operational computer with incorporated video camera and audio.

Ability to work collaboratively and execute timelines and objectives.

Experience working with High School Students and with HS transcript data, preferred.

Possess data analysis skills in support of credit recovery and graduation goals.

Has a thorough understanding of graduation requirements.

Must be committed to developing familiarity with online credit‑recovery program data.

Computer literate with ability to maintain and update relevant student data (e.g., enrollment, attendance, student achievement, grades) and access/respond to email.

Must be flexible to support all students in the program.

Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, teachers, administrative staff, parents, and community.

NOTE:

Duration of employment in the program & allocated number of hours/weeks will be predicated on student enrollment
eed.
