
Transport Service Driver L1

The Milestone Transport Service Driver L1 is responsible for safely driving and delivering materials and goods to support the Transport Service Team in the daily execution of service operations to the set standards and ensuring compliance to support excellent service quality and customer engagement. This role is a temporary full‑time, onsite position in an environment that may consist of a large warehouse, data center and internal transport services.
How You Will Make an Impact
The primary responsibility of the Transport Service Driver is to drive safely to destinations and perform the following duties.
Collect inventory/goods from the designated collection point and ensure all client documents are in order.
Secure the inventory/goods in the vehicle in an organized manner for safe transport.
Provide input to the Transport Service Lead to support daily planning for the safest and most efficient routes.
Use GPS navigation apps and local knowledge to deliver inventory/goods promptly and safely.
Transport inventory/goods by company vehicles in accordance with all safety procedures and protocol.
Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections daily.
Assist in scheduling regular maintenance checks on assigned vehicles and inform management of any issues.
Operate a vehicle in inclement weather such as snow or ice.
Ensure consistent delivery of inventory/goods in good condition to clients.
Maintain professional interactions with Milestone and client colleagues and stakeholders.
Unload inventory/goods at the destination and ensure clients sign necessary paperwork.
Apply transport safety best practices and 5S for safety and organization.
Complete all assigned training and attend operational meetings.
Arrive on time and presentable for all duties.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills (English).
What You Will Need to Succeed
Current valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
Current CDL A license.
Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card physical exam (US only).
Competent in operating vehicles up to a 53’ trailer and cab.
Competent in transferring and hitching a cab to a new trailer.
Understanding of ELD system and DOT requirements.
Willingness to be challenged and learn new skills.
Computer, iPad, and iPhone literate.
Ability to perform physical labor and work in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work with instruction as part of a larger team.
Initiative to complete tasks independently of the team.
Agility to manage changing workload priorities.
Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude.
Competency in understanding and performing workplace safety basics.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to safely lift and move a maximum of fifty (50) pounds and can stand for the duration of the shift.

Preferred Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of 53’ trailer and cab driving experience.
Minimum 1 year of material handling in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution center environment.
Proficient in Windows, Apple (Mac and iPad), and peripheral devices.
Versatile, flexible, and willing to work within constantly changing priorities.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Understanding of all safety requirements and precautions.
