Overview
We're looking for a licensed Zumba Gold instructor to lead classes for older adults and participants with limited mobility. Zumba Gold brings the fun and energy of Zumba at a pace and intensity that works for every body — and we need someone who loves sharing that with our community.

Responsibilities
Plan and lead group exercise classes incorporating warm-ups, core activity, and cool-downs
Set up equipment before class and store it securely afterward
Create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for members of all fitness levels
Track class attendance and note new or absent participantsMaintain safety in all classes following YMCA and national certification guidelines
Keep up with fitness trends and continuing education requirements
Communicate any safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to management promptly
Use provided microphone equipment during class
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
One or more of the following qualifications:
National group fitness certification: ACE, AFAA, NCSM, or equivalent
Specialty format training: Zumba Gold
A warm, encouraging teaching style that connects with participants of all fitness levels
Ability to pass an audition with our fitness director — a friendly, low-pressure opportunity to show your teaching style
